A lake nearby is Badland Pond, and a good view of beautiful La Jara Mesa is available. High temperatures at Laguna Seca through the warm months are in the 90's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's, and overnight lows all through the wintertime for Laguna Seca tend to be in the 10's. Not       much precipitation falls here at Laguna Seca; all through August this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is June. If you need a place to stay Best Western Jicarilla Inn & Casino is a good choice. This lake is one of the great places here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. If you get bored of Laguna Seca, you could also stop by close by Lost Lake, and if you came to camp Buzzard Park Campground is a fine place to do that. This lake is                  so wonderful.
