Laguna Seca is located in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Laguna Seca while overnight lows are generally in the 40's. During the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's, and overnight lows at Laguna Seca during the winter generally fall into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. The River Trail offers hiking at its best; a brilliant place to stop at nearby       is Pasture Canyon. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the San Pedro Mountain Trail, and there are other spots here than Laguna Seca, for example Laguna Simon. Laguna Seca is commonly a quite waterless location; August is when you get the most rain here while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
