This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan and Jemez Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the River Trail. Laguna Seca gets very little precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is June. Now, you may assume that's a load but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. If you       need a site to stay Best Western Jicarilla Inn is a splendid choice, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Laguna Seca; San Pedro Mountain Trail is a glorious local trail. A delightful site near Laguna Seca is Pasture Canyon, and why not take a refreshing hike along the San Jose Trail. Throughout the summertime months at Laguna Seca temperatures are regularly in the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's generally in the 40's.
