If you came for an overnight stay Happy Camper RV Park is a good location to camp, and dry warm beds await you at Keyah Grande Resort. Not much rainfall falls here at Santiago Pond; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here, and June is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Best Western Jicarilla Inn & Casino is a pleasant site to spend a night or two; Santiago Pond is in close proximity to La Chamisalosa

| | Canyon which is definitely worth visiting. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Navajo River; Santiago Pond is not the only location close by, Bancos Lake is a close by lake. You absolutely should fancy the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Wolf Creek, and a lake close by is Ed Ladd Lake. If only every location had this much outdoors enjoyable stuff, what a great earth it would be. Why not camp at Buzzard Park Campground | |
