Go to Santa Cruz Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Sierra Mosca Trail, and if you came to camp Overlook Campground is a good location to do that. And if that's not sufficient, there's a load more to do in the neighborhood of Santa Cruz Lake. least amount of precipitation. Rio Frijoles is close to Santa Cruz Lake and is always a bliss to explore. This lake is so wonderful. There's always Santa Cruz Reservoir Dam to pop by near Santa Cruz Lake, and Santa Fe National
Historic Trail is a splendid site close by. The snow is magnificent at Ski Santa Fe; whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Rio Santa Cruz. After a long day outdoors Espanola-Days Inn is a
tremendous site to spend a night or two, and at Santa Cruz Lake you always meet someone from Santa Fe. During the warm months, highs generally are in the 90's at Santa Cruz Lake. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 50's.
The winter comes with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Santa Cruz Lake tend to be in the 10's.
