    If you are traveling by, why not stop by Santa Cruz Lake. Santa Cruz Lake is a location that is rather dry mostly; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Ski Santa Fe since you're here, and you can have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Medio Dia Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Rio Embudo, and do stop by  
   Rio Frijoles while you're here at Santa Cruz Lake.
If you come at the right time of year, Rio Santa Cruz offers some magnificent whitewater, and La Caja is a brilliant place to spend some time. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop by Nambe Reservoir if you're here at Santa Cruz Lake; it's close by, and Santa Fe National Historic Trail is a good place close by. Camping is available at Northlake Campground, and hiking along the Sierra Mosca Trail is
 
               glorious fun.
Summertime at Santa Cruz Lake comes with high temperatures in the 90's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and night lows in the 10's for Santa Cruz Lake. So much exciting stuff next to Santa Cruz Lake, just mind-boggling.
