It's always fun to stop by San Isidro Lake. All year is a brilliant time in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. There are other places here than San Isidro Lake, for example Shufeldt Lake; a tour to Fort Union National Monument is worthwhile. High temperatures at San Isidro Lake through the summertime months are in the 70's; the overnight is a bit colder of course, mostly in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are

The Gascon Trail offers hiking at its best; Pendaries RV Resort is a brilliant campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
