There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Salt Lake. Camping is available at Cathedral Rock Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Angel Fire Resort is a good place to get some rest, and what would winter be without some skiing at Angel Fire. Not much rainfall falls here at Salt Lake; August is when you get the most rain here, and January is the month with the least moisture. Having a delightful time in the       Sangre De Cristo Mountains is trouble-free. The sights at Fort Union National Monument will blow your mind, and if you get bored of Salt Lake you could also go to nearby Deep Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Eagle Nest; a nice spot is Manueles Canyon. The Sangre De Cristo Mountains scenery is always beautiful. All through the warm months, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Salt Lake. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's.                  The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Salt Lake night low temperatures through the winter are in the-10's.
