    Many people like to go to Saladon Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are nice; Middle Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Saladon Lake; the Lost Lake Trail is a great hiking trail close by. The Sangre De Cristo Mountains scenery is always beautiful. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. For you golfers we recommend nearby Angel Fire Resort Golf Course, and dry warm beds await you at Angel  
   Fire Resort.
If you need a site to stay Econo Lodge Eagle Nest is a wonderful choice, and why not head up to Angel Fire and strap some skis to your feet. For the duration of the summertime highs here at Saladon Lake reach the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while Saladon Lake nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. Yep, outdoors amusing things truly is bountiful here
 
               in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. While you're here at Saladon Lake you can take a hike along the Burnt Ridge Trail; if the weather is delightful, you get a delightful panorama of Garcia Peak from Saladon Lake.
Saladon Lake is pretty dried out regularly; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is January. This lake is so wonderful. This is a splendid region for folks who like lakes. Agua Fria Lake is a lake around here. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Saladon Lake. On a great day at Saladon Lake you can take a hike along the Kit Carson Trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Saladon Lake has to offer, you can camp at Sierra Bonita Cabins and RV Park.
There's so much to do here at Saladon Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Monte Verde RV Park is a delightful place for that, and Wild Horse Park is a pretty place any time of year.
