This lake is located in the wonderful Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Saladon Lake is ordinarily a relatively dried up site; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is January. Hit the slopes at Angel Fire around here; a good site like Wild Horse Park here at Saladon Lake is too good to miss. If you need a place to stay Elk Horn Lodge of Angel Fire is a wonderful       choice. There's so much to do here at Saladon Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sierra Bonita Cabins and RV Park is a great place for that. And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun stuff just keep reading. While you're here at Saladon Lake you can take a hike along the Burnt Ridge Trail, and Angel Fire Resort Golf Course is a delightful golf course nearby. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The Sangre De Cristo Mountains is peerless!                  If the weather is perfect here at Saladon Lake, you can go for a hike along the Kit Carson Trail. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Angel Fire Resort is a great location to spend a night or two, and Saladon Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Monte Verde RV Park is a great local campground. For the period of the summer months highs here at Saladon Lake reach the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Saladon Lake. Now, you may imagine that's plenty but there's even more cool things to do here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains.
