    Why not stop by Sacramento Lake if you're passing through these parts. Looking for a perfect tour? White Sands National Monument is rather close to Sacramento Lake, and camping at Slide Campground is always a wonderful experience. Through the warm months here at Sacramento Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 90's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. All through the wintertime the highs are commonly in the 50's with temperatures  
   at Sacramento Lake dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. Sacramento Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sacramento Mountains.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Sacramento Mountains. After a long day outdoors Lodge at Cloudcroft is a brilliant location to spend a night or two; there are plenty of folks from Alamogordo here at Sacramento Lake. Sacramento Lake is frequently a rather dried out place; the wettest month of the year is mostly August,
 
               that's the one that rains the most while April is ordinarily the driest month. Any time is a wonderful time at Sacramento Lake if you fancy the outdoors. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Sacramento Lake; Osha Trail is a magnificent local trail; Sacramento Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Oliver Lee Campground is a fine local campground.
This lake is so wonderful. If you would like a little side trip, try Corral Canyon, and dry warm beds await you at Cloudcroft Hotel. Put some time aside to spend at Pine Spring while you're here at Sacramento Lake, and if you get bored of Sacramento Lake you could also go to nearby Lightning Lake. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Sacramento Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Timberon Golf Course.
