The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Sacramento Lake. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Sacramento Lake, you could also stop by scenic
Upper Juniper Reservoir, and a fine spot to stop at is Corral Canyon.
After a long day outdoors Lodge at Cloudcroft is a good spot to spend a night or two; Pine Spring is an inspiring location to check out during your stay. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Sacramento Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Cloudcroft Hotel, and if you came to camp Oliver Lee Campground is a fine site to do that. The great people of Alamogordo like to hang

out nearby, and do have a look at Lightning Lake, it's a pretty lake.
This lake is so wonderful. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Sacramento Lake. Visiting White Sands National Monument is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and camping at Slide Campground is always a pleasant experience. This site, the Sacramento Mountains, has so much outdoors fun stuff. Hiking along the Osha Trail is brilliant fun, and if you're a golfer then a nice close by course is Timberon Golf Course.
Around Sacramento Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and April on the other hand is the driest.
