Sacramento Lake is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sacramento Mountains. Through the summertime months at Sacramento Lake highs are regularly in the 90's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Sacramento Lake. This lake is so wonderful. | | Upper Juniper Reservoir, and a fine spot to stop at is Corral Canyon. After a long day outdoors Lodge at Cloudcroft is a good spot to spend a night or two; Pine Spring is an inspiring location to check out during your stay. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Sacramento Mountains. Dry warm beds await you at Cloudcroft Hotel, and if you came to camp Oliver Lee Campground is a fine site to do that. out nearby, and do have a look at Lightning Lake, it's a pretty lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Sacramento Lake. Visiting White Sands National Monument is just something you
need to do if you haven't yet, and camping at Slide Campground is always a pleasant experience. This site, the Sacramento Mountains, has so much outdoors fun stuff. Hiking along the Osha Trail is brilliant fun, and if you're a golfer
then a nice close by course is Timberon Golf Course. Around Sacramento Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and April on the other hand is the driest.

When we went fishing that day, we couldn't catch any fish, as a matter of fact there were about 30 other people around the lake, aside from the 8 people in our party fishing at different parts of the lake.
