Summertime highs at Rose Lake typically tend to be in the 80's with night lows in the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's; night lows in the 10's for Rose Lake. So much cool stuff to do at Rose Lake, so little time. From Rose Lake you get a magnificent vista of Cooks Peak; some nearby water includes Bonita Creek. Rose Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sangre       De Cristo Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Eagle Nest; the views at Fort Union National Monument will blow your mind. All the outdoors fun stuff in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains will keep you coming back time and again. Angel Fire Resort is a wonderful location to get some rest; Rose Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Cathedral Rock Campground is a magnificent local campground. A wonderful                  spot to camp here at Rose Lake is Cimarron Inn and RV Park; Rose Lake is not the only site nearby, Graham Lake is a nearby lake. A lake close by is Sawmill Lake, and Angel Fire has tremendous slopes and a friendly staff. Around Rose Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; throughout the month of July you get the most rain around here; January on the other hand is the driest. Yeah, come up here to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains for a good time.
