The Summit Trail offers hiking at its best, and camping at Rip Lake is great fun, Mountain High RV Park is a great local campground. Rip Lake is right by the Mitten Bar Trail, and Rip Lake is a perfect place to camp, Baca Campground is a perfect place. During the long summer days, highs mostly are in the 90's at Rip Lake. Throughout the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's, and       winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Rip Lake. Nearby lakes? Sure, Antelope Lake is in the neighborhood of Rip Lake. Rip Lake is a location that is rather dehydrated frequently; the month with most of the rain is August, and January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
