High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 30's with temperatures at Rimrock Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. Rimrock Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sangre       De Cristo Mountains. From Rimrock Lake you obtain a pleasant vista of Crater Peak, and after a long day outdoors Angel Fire Resort is a good site to spend a night or two. Be careful coming to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, you might not ever wanna return back home again. If you came to camp Cimarron Inn and RV Park is a good place to do that, and dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Eagle Nest. It is very dry here at Rimrock Lake regularly; during the                  month of August you get the most rain around here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
