In New Mexico there are many beautiful lakes, Ridgecrest Reservoir is one of them. There is a great hiking trail close to Ridgecrest Reservoir called the Faulty Trail, and a lake close by is Burton Reservoir. Lots of people from Albuquerque come to Ridgecrest Reservoir; a visit to Ridgecrest Reservoir wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Clear Water Spring. This lake is so wonderful. Best Western Inn is a wonderful campground here; if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Embudo Trail. All through the days of summer at Ridgecrest Reservoir temperatures are ordinarily in the 90's, and the night is a bit colder of course, generally in the 60's. nearby, and after a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Albuquerque is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two.
There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Sandia Peak, and dry warm beds await you at Sunset Inn. Ridgecrest
Reservoir gets very little rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while November is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Do pay a visit to Petroglyph National Monument if you're here at Ridgecrest Reservoir.
