A lake close by is Laguna Madre, and why not pop by Dam Number Two if you're here. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Reservoir Number Two. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Reservoir Number Two are in the 10's. Around Reservoir Number Two you don’t get a lot of precipitation; during the month of August you get the most rain around here;

| | December meanwhile is the driest month. Number Eleven Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to, and if you need a spot to stay Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites RATON is a tremendous choice. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Reservoir Number Two that you need to camp here for a while, Cedar Rail Campground is a delightful place for that, and Americas Best Value Inn - Raton is a great place to get some rest. | |
