Red Lake is a nice lake to visit. For the duration of the long summer days here at Red Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Red Lake are in the 10's. Red Lake is right by the Gascon Trail. There's so much to do here at Red Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pendaries RV Resort is a great

| | site for that. Not much rainfall falls here at Red Lake; the wettest month of the year is frequently July, that's the one that rains the most; January is the month with the least moisture.
This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are glorious; La Cueva Lake is a lake that's next to Red Lake, and if you need a place to stay Las Vegas-Days Inn is a magnificent choice. The Santa Fe Trail offers hiking at its best, and if you have the time, Fort Union National Monument | |
