     Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The Chuska Mountains rules!. Dry warm beds await you at Quality Inn Navajo Nation Capital, and do have a look at Red Lake, it's a lovely lake. Now, you may feel that's heaps but there's even more amusing things to do here in the Chuska Mountains. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Gallup is a magnificent choice, and a delightful place nearby is Red Valley.
Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even
 
   more cool stuff to do here at Red Lake. Sage Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to, and Bowl Lake Campground is a nice local campground. Don't leave Red Lake without first checking out Frog Rock, and Red Lake is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Tse Bonito Campground is a nice place to camp nearby. Red Lake is a beautiful lake in the Chuska Mountains.
This lake is so wonderful. Red Lake Dam is pretty and it's right next door to Red Lake,
 
               and hey, Tohdildonih Wash is a good local stream. Not much rainfall falls here at Red Lake; August is the month that gets the most rain; the driest of the months is June. At Red Lake through the summer highs are in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Red Lake temperatures sink to the 10's.

Nice little lake to fish, a bit weedy for a kayak, but can be done. Very quiet and alot of solitude on weekdays. Rumors of bigfoot abound, but haven't seen one yet....
