If you came for an overnight stay Sands Motel and RV Park is a great site to camp, and dry warm beds await you at Hotel Ruidoso. Why not camp at Mountain Springs Ranch Recreational Vehicle Park since you're here at Red Lake, and there are wonderful places to discover along the Barber Springs Trail. Going for a hike on the Sand Wash Trail is always a good adventure,       and Ancho Gulch is a magnificent place to go to. Summertime at Red Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Red Lake. Around Red Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; most of the rain falls during August while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
