Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 50's; overnight lows through the wintertime for Red Lake tend to be in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Ussery Trail is always a delightful adventure, obviously you could also stop by Pats Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Near Red Lake       you stumble on the Double Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Red Lake has to offer, you can camp at Queen Store Cafe and RV Park. Red Lake is commonly a quite dried up place; all through September this area sees the most rain while March is commonly the driest month. There are splendid spots to discover along the Golden Stairway Trail, and if you wish for a little side tour, try Turkey Canyon.
