During the summer months at Laguna de las Ranas highs are regularly in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Laguna de las Ranas. Yeah, come up here to the San Juan Mountains for a good time. Laguna de las Ranas is a good spot to camp, Lower Canjilon Lakes Campground is a good spot; naturally, A journey       to Puertecito de las Ranas is always fun. All the outdoors amusing stuff in the San Juan Mountains will keep you coming back again and again. There's pleasant hiking along the Palacio Trail; dry warm beds await you at The Abiquiu Inn. Laguna de las Ranas is one of the lakes here in the San Juan Mountains. Get your heart pumping on the great whitewater of Rio Ojo Caliente; Laguna de las Ranas is a place with many visitors from Espanola. This lake is so                  wonderful. The slopes of Pajarito Mountain are so inviting noone can resist. The Lemitas Trail offers hiking at its best, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Rio Chama. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Laguna de las Ranas without first going for a hike along the Apache Trail, and Canjilon Creek Campground is a magnificent campground here. This place, Laguna de las Ranas, it definitely has so much outdoors entertaining stuff. Laguna Lorenza is a nice lake in the vicinity of Laguna de las Ranas; do put some time aside to spend at Ojito del Comanche while you're here at Laguna de las Ranas.
