Ramah Reservoir is one of the lakes here in the Zuni Mountains. Camping at Tanaja Trading Post is always a magnificent experience, and if you've had enough of Ramah Reservoir, Pescado Reservoir is close by. Ramah Reservoir is a location that is relatively waterless usually; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; June meanwhile is the driest month.       High temperatures at Ramah Reservoir during the days of summer are in the 80's, and the night is a tad cooler of course, generally in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the wintertime are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Ramah Reservoir are in the 10's. That right there is a heap of fun stuff already but it goes on, the Zuni Mountains has it all. Coal Hollow is near Ramah Reservoir and is certainly a glorious place to go to, and Ramah Reservoir is                  great enough to spend more than a day at, El Morro RV Park is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can check out Ramah Reservoir Dam; on a pretty day you obtain a brilliant panorama of Antenna Hill from Ramah Reservoir. You could also explore Dog Lake while you're here at Ramah Reservoir; it's nearby; if you have time to spare, El Morro National Monument is a national park worth a visit. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in close proximity to Ramah Reservoir will keep you coming back repeatedly.
