After a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn - Carlsbad is a nice place to spend a night or two; Carlsbad Caverns National Park is a magnificent location close by. This lake is so wonderful. Mexican Lake is a great lake next to Queen Lake; dry warm beds await you at Days Inn Carlsbad. There are other spots here than Queen Lake, for example Willow Lake, and camping is available at Windmill RV Park. Camping at Cavern Estates Mobile Home and RV Park is always

| | a good experience. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Queen Lake. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 60's. All through the winter highs are in the 50's, and night lows at Queen Lake all through the wintertime frequently drop into the 20's. Queen Lake is a location that is pretty dehydrated ordinarily; September is the wettest month with most rain, and March is the month with the least moisture. | |
