If you need a spot to stay Adobe and Stars Inn is a wonderful choice, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Rio Grande. This lake is so wonderful. Punche Lake is not the only spot nearby, Alta Lake Reservoir is a nearby lake. There's so much to do here at Punche Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Twin Rivers       Guest Ranch is a pleasant spot for that. Punche Lake is mostly a reasonably dry site; during July this area sees the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. If you get bored of Punche Lake, you could also have a look at nearby Wilson Lake; Punche Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Rio De Los Pinos Campground is a great local campground. For the duration of the summer here at Punche Lake, high temperatures                  regularly reach the 70's while night lows are usually in the 40's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Punche Lake dipping down into the-10's throughout winter nights.
