Pothole Lake is a lake worth visiting. At Pothole Lake through the days of summer highs are in the 90's. Summer night lows fall down to the 60's. All through the wintertime highs are generally in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Pothole Lake are in the 20's. If only every location had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great world it would be. Do stop by Seeping Springs Lakes close to Pothole Lake, it's a striking lake, and going for a hike on the Perk

| | Ridge Trail is always a good adventure. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the Sacramento Mountains has to offer. Pothole Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Downs Motel is a great local campground, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Dry Mills Trail. Mountains is simple. There are nice sites to look at along the Cedar Creek Trail. Pothole Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sacramento Mountains. Not much precipitation falls here at Pothole Lake; the month of August is the
wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is April. This lake is so wonderful. Sweethart Windmill is a nearby lake that you could have a look at, and a brilliant close by hotel is Ruidoso Downs-Days Inn. There's
so much to do here at Pothole Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Circle B Recreational Vehicle Park is a fine site for that, and after a long day outdoors Ramada Ruidoso Downs is a brilliant place to spend a night or two.
