If you came to camp Downs Motel is a delightful place to do that, and Ski Apache is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. All through the summer months highs here at Pothole Lake reach the 90's while night lows are typically in the 60's. During the winter highs are typically in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Pothole Lake. You just must go for Pothole Lake. Near Pothole Lake you find the Dry Mills       Trail which is a splendid hiking trail, and a lake nearby is Seeping Springs Lakes. The Sacramento Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Ramada Ruidoso Downs is a magnificent place to get some rest; Allison Canyon is another wonderful site to stop at nearby. Pothole Lake is pretty dehydrated generally; the month with most of the rain is August; April is when it's the driest. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Sacramento                  Mountains has to offer. Going for a hike on the Perk Ridge Trail is always a glorious adventure. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Sacramento Mountains is excellent! Pothole Lake is not the only place nearby, Sweethart Windmill is a nearby lake, and if you need a spot to stay Ruidoso Downs-Days Inn is a splendid choice. This lake is so wonderful.
