  Don't leave Posos Lake without first paying a visit to McIntyre Spring, and if you're popping by from Vallecitos, you won't be the only one. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a wonderful time here at Posos Lake. A tremendous place like Carson National Forest close to Posos Lake is too wonderful to leave out.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Posos Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hopewell Lake Campground is a good spot
    for that. The panorama of Big Rock from Posos Lake is beautiful. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Posos Lake has to offer, you can camp at El Ritito Campground.
