Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! The San Juan and Jemez Mountains rocks! The top of Big Rock is easily observed from Posos Lake, and Hopewell Lake Campground is a pleasant local campground. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Espanola here, and Abeyta Lake is a good lake close by. Lakes? Sure, Kiowa Lake is nearby, and don't forget to take a nice little visit to       Spring Creek. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. It's always perfect to pop by Alire Spring. If you came for an overnight stay El Ritito Campground is a brilliant site to camp, and float down the rapids of Rio Ojo Caliente in a kayak. During the months of summer highs here at Posos Lake get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's, and night lows at Posos Lake during the winter                  frequently descend into the 0's. Posos Lake is located in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
