Chupadera Spring is always fun to check out. At Pollywog Pond you don’t see much rain; August is the month that gets the most rain while June is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Going for a hike along the Hart Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; Rio Chama is a glorious whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is wonderful here at Pollywog       Pond, you can go for a hike along the River Trail; in the event that you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rio Chama. High temperatures at Pollywog Pond during the warmest time of the year are in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's while Pollywog Pond nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 0's. This lake is                  one of the great places here in the San Juan Mountains. You'll really wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things in the San Juan Mountains.
