If you are in this part of New Mexico make sure to pay a visit to Pioneer Lake. All through the days of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Pioneer Lake, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows during the winter for Pioneer Lake tend to be in the 0's. You simply should like Pioneer Lake. Don't leave Pioneer Lake without first going for a hike along the
Twining Blue Lake Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Rio Grande. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are good; Goose Lake is a lake that's in the vicinity of Pioneer Lake; while
you're here you can play some golf at Red Eagle Golf Course. Stay the night at Elephant Rock Campground.
Red River has good slopes and a friendly staff, and if you come at the right time of year, Red River offers some wonderful
whitewater. You completely have to adore the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. The top of Black Mountain is easily observed from Pioneer Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Adobe and Stars Inn is a glorious choice.
