This lake is one of the great places here in the Sacramento Mountains. Patos Lake is a location that is reasonably waterless regularly; the month with most of the rain is August while April is generally the driest month. Don't leave Patos Lake without first going for a hike along the Barber Springs Trail, and Patos Lake is a splendid spot to visit for more than one day, Mountain High       RV Park is a splendid spot to camp nearby. Through the warm months, highs regularly are in the 90's at Patos Lake while overnight lows are commonly in the 60's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 50's; overnight lows at Patos Lake throughout the wintertime ordinarily descend into the 20's. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors cool things the Sacramento Mountains has to offer. There are wonderful sites to discover along the Sand                  Wash Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Patos Lake has to offer, you can camp at Nogal Lake Campground. This lake is so wonderful.
