This lake is located in the wonderful Sacramento Mountains. Around Patos Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is April. And that's not all you can do here in the Sacramento Mountains. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Sand Wash Trail, and dry warm beds await you at The Lodge at Sierra Blanca. This lake       is so wonderful. Hiking along the Patos Mountain Trail is splendid fun, and you can stay the night at Nogal Lake Campground. Throughout the warm months at Patos Lake highs are commonly in the 90's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 50's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Patos Lake fall into the 20's.
