Patos Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sacramento Mountains. You absolutely must fancy Patos Lake. Why not camp at Nogal Lake Campground since you're here at Patos Lake; if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Patos Mountain Trail. On a great day at Patos Lake you can take a hike along the Sand Wash Trail, and Patos Lake is not the only location close by, Lutz Lake is a close       by lake. And that's not all there is to do here in the Sacramento Mountains. Camping is available at Mountain High RV Park, and a lake close by is Lavade Lake. Around Patos Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; during August this area sees the most rain, and April is when it's the driest. High temperatures at Patos Lake throughout the summertime months are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime                  come with highs in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Patos Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
