    A visit to Pasture Trap Chute is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. A tour to Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument is recommended, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Pasture Trap Chute; Little Whitewater Trail is a magnificent local trail. So many enjoyable things in the San Francisco Mountains, just striking. If you came for an overnight stay Whitewater Campground is a delightful place to camp; Mineral Creek is next to Pasture Trap Chute  
   and is always a diversion to stop by. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the San Francisco Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the The Catwalk National Recreation Trail, and Hicks Pasture is a magnificent place to stretch your legs a bit.
The warmest time of the year at Pasture Trap Chute comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the overnight is a little chillier of course, typically in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs
 
               in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Pasture Trap Chute. The San Francisco Mountains scenery is always beautiful. A fine spot to pop by right next door to Pasture Trap Chute is Harvey Gulch, and camping at Pasture Trap Chute is perfect fun, Pueblo Park Campground is a perfect local campground.
In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Francisco River, and Pasture Trap Chute is right by the Powerplant Road. This lake is so wonderful. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this spot. San Francisco River is a tremendous whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Pasture Trap Chute, and not far from Pasture Trap Chute you'll locate Harve Gutch Windmill which is a scenic lake.
Not much rain falls here at Pasture Trap Chute; the wettest month of the year is mostly August, that's the one that rains the most while May is ordinarily the driest month.
