Why not stop by Park Lake if you're passing through these parts. Park Lake gets very little precipitation; most of the rain falls through July, and December on the other hand is the driest. Power Dam Lake is not far at all from Park Lake; Park Lake is a perfect place to visit for more than one day, La Loma RV Park is a perfect place to camp nearby. Any time is a good time at Park Lake if you go for the outdoors.

| | Lake highs are usually in the 90's, and the overnight is a bit chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are usually in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Park Lake are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is SUPER 8 MOTEL - SANTA ROSA, and it's a brilliant idea to pop by El Rito Creek.
