At Lake Number Two through the summer months highs are in the 80's, and the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, ordinarily in the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; during the dark hours in the winter at Lake Number Two temperatures descend to the-10's. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Lake Number Two. The slopes of Ski Rio are so inviting noone can resist. There       are brilliant places to explore along the Bernal Trail, and you can see Barker Dome from Lake Number Two. Lake Number Two is located in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Just can't get enough of the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Do explore Glacier Lakes next to Lake Number Two, it's a picturesque lake, and San Luis Inn is a great site to get some rest. Lake Number Two gets very little rain; August is the wettest month with most rain while January is the month                  with the least amount of precipitation. If you came for an overnight stay Roadrunner Campground is a nice location to camp, and dry warm beds await you at Edelweiss Condominiums. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Mallette Campground since you're here at Lake Number Two; hey, Gotta ski right?
