Camping at Number Thirteen Lake is glorious fun, Raton Koa Kampground is a glorious local campground, and Holiday Inn Express Raton, Nm is a wonderful location to get some rest. For the period of the warm days of summer at Number Thirteen Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 40's while Number Thirteen Lake nighttime       low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. Number Thirteen Lake is a location that is rather dehydrated usually; the month with most of the rain is August; the driest of the months is December. Why not camp at Cedar Rail Campground while you're here at Number Thirteen Lake, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Sands is a wonderful location to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.
