Lake Number One is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Eagle Nest is a nice spot to spend a night or two; a delightful site to camp here at Lake Number One is Potato Patch Campground. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. For the period of the warm days of summer at Lake Number One temperatures are mostly in the 80's while overnight lows are generally in

| | the 40's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are typically in the 30's, and overnight lows at Lake Number One through the wintertime typically descend into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. A great close by hotel is Best Western River's Edge; why not take a refreshing hike along the Bernal Trail. Number One. While you're here at Lake Number One, you could also have a look at striking Glacier Lakes, and scenic scenery and wonderful skiing is what you obtain at Red River. Having a brilliant time in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains
is easy. East Fork Costilla Creek flows through this vicinity, and Lake Number One is great enough to spend more than a day at, McCrystal Creek Campground is a great local campground. At Lake Number One you don’t see much precipitation;
the month with most of the rain is August; January is the month with the least moisture. Gotta ski! Ski Rio is a nice place to do that, and do explore Glacier Lakes, it's a pretty lake.

Last year I finally returned to Latir with my wife and 4 daughters. We found greatfully NOTHING had changed!!!! We spent 6 days exploring, fishing, and bonding.
