Bishop's Lodge is a splendid site to get some rest, and Ski Santa Fe is a magnificent local ski area. Through the summer highs here at Nombe Reservoir reach the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Nombe Reservoir are in the 10's. Going for a hike on the Rio Nambe Trail is       always a glorious adventure, and a brilliant close by hotel is Encantado An Auberge Resort. Near Nombe Reservoir you come across a golf course called TOWA Golf Course, and you can go for a hike on the Borrego Trail. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Nombe Reservoir. Overlook Campground is a good local campground; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Nambe Reservoir. A visit to Bandelier National Monument is                  worthwhile. Lakes? Sure, Nambe Falls Reservoir is close by, and don't leave Nombe Reservoir without first paying a visit to Nambe Falls. This lake is so wonderful. Northlake Campground is a tremendous campground nearby, and there are some great whitewater spots on Rio Santa Cruz. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular spot for folks from Santa Fe, and close by you find the Rio en Medio Trail which is a great hiking trail.
