If you are in Santa Fe county it's always a good idea to stop by Nombe Reservoir. Bishop's Lodge is a splendid site to get some rest, and Ski Santa Fe is a magnificent local ski area. Through the summer highs here at Nombe Reservoir reach the 90's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Nombe Reservoir are in the 10's. Going for a hike on the Rio Nambe Trail is

are some great whitewater spots on Rio Santa Cruz. This lake is so wonderful. This is a popular spot for folks from Santa Fe, and close by you find the Rio en Medio Trail which is a great hiking trail. Around Nombe Reservoir you
don’t get a lot of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest of the months is February.
