Nogal Lake is a nice lake to visit. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Ski Apache, and if you came for an overnight stay Monjeau Campground is a great site to camp. That right there is plenty of exciting stuff already but it goes on, the Sacramento Mountains has it all. Swiss Chalet Inn is a good spot to get some rest, and you could always discover Dry Gulch. Dry warm beds await you at Hotel Ruidoso; you can go for a hike

For the duration of the months of summer at Nogal Lake highs are mostly in the 90's while overnight lows are frequently in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's while Nogal Lake overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 20's.
