Nogal Lake is near Dry Gulch which is definitely worth checking out, and the Wet Mills Trail offers hiking at its best. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area next to Nogal Lake has to offer. Why not camp at Nogal Lake Campground since you're here at Nogal Lake; pretty scenery and great skiing is what you get at Ski Apache. Around Nogal Lake you don’t       get a lot of rainfall; during August this area sees the most rain while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. So many amusing things to do in the Sacramento Mountains, not enough time. A great close by hotel is Big Pine Lodge, as expected you could also take a look at Bonito Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is located in the wonderful Sacramento Mountains. Summertime highs at Nogal Lake frequently tend to be in the 90's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. Through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 50's with temperatures at Nogal Lake dipping down into the 20's during winter nights.
