  Be careful coming to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, you might not ever want to return home again. If you came to camp LaJara Lake - Jicarilla Apache is a good place to do that.
A journey to El Vado Lake State Park when you're here at Navajo Lake is a good idea, and camping at Stone Lake - Jicarilla Apache Indian Res is always a good experience. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
Through the summertime at Navajo Lake
    highs are commonly in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 40's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Navajo Lake.
