     Through the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 90's at Nambe Lake. Summer night lows plunge down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are typically in the 40's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Nambe Lake drop into the 10's. Having a great time at Nambe Lake is painless. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lake Katherine is in close proximity to Nambe Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Willow Creek Campground is a pleasant campground nearby,  
   and Rio Santa Cruz has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby.
All the outdoors enjoyable stuff near Nambe Lake will keep you coming back again and again. The Big Tesuque Trail offers hiking at its best, and from Nambe Lake you obtain a tremendous vista of Lake Peak. Near Nambe Lake you discover Puerto Nambe which is a good place to stop by; at Nambe Lake you always meet someone from Santa Fe. This lake is so wonderful. If you haven’t been to Santa Fe
 
               National Historic Trail, you ought to schedule some time for it while you're here, and Sipapu Ski is a nice local ski area.
All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains will keep you coming back repeatedly. If you need a location to stay Encantado An Auberge Resort is a great choice, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Ski Santa Fe is pretty near. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. This is a tremendous vicinity for folks who like lakes. Spirit Lake is a lake nearby, and glorious hiking is available along the Winsor Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Sangre De Cristo Mountains.
There's tremendous hiking along the Norski Cross Country Ski Track, and Big Tesuque Campground is a good local campground. After a long day outdoors Bishop's Lodge is a pleasant location to spend a night or two, and everyone loves Aspen Basin. Nambe Lake is frequently a rather waterless site; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is February.
