A short visit to Geronimo Spring is always worthwhile. Flagpole Mountain is painless to spot from Mud Lake; Wrights Cabin Campground is a perfect local campground. Not much precipitation falls here at Mud Lake; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is April. Summertime highs at Mud Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight       hours it's mostly in the 40's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Mud Lake. This lake is so wonderful. The Old Government Trail offers hiking at its best, and Comfort Inn And Suites is a tremendous spot to get some rest. Mud Lake is a beautiful lake in the Black Range. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Black Range.
