This lake is so wonderful. Do go to Morphy Dam if you're here at Morphy Lake, and going for a hike on the Gascon Trail is always a splendid adventure. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Head up to Sipapu Ski and strap some skis to your feet, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Las Vegas. RV Resort, and there are great locations to explore along the Divide Trail. At Morphy Lake you don’t see much precipitation; through August this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. There's so much
to do here at Morphy Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Trails End RV Park is a great place for that, and you can go for a hike on the West Fork Angostura Trail. Morphy Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains.
