Just can't get enough of the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. This is a magnificent neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Collins Lake is a lake nearby. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Morphy Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Morphy Lake has to offer, you can camp at Pendaries

RV Resort, and there are great locations to explore along the Divide Trail. At Morphy Lake you don’t see much precipitation; through August this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
There's so much to do here at Morphy Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Trails End RV Park is a great place for that, and you can go for a hike on the West Fork Angostura Trail. Morphy Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. You're most likely interested in lakes, Laguna de Agua is one of those nearby, and Rito Garcia is one of the streams nearby that might be worth taking a look at.
