Morgan Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. A wonderful place to camp here at Morgan Lake is Sulphur Spring Campground. Here at Morgan Lake you'll probably meet some folks from Farmington, and camping at Ship Rock Campground is always a splendid experience. At Morgan Lake through the summertime months highs are in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 40's with winter lows in the 10's

Not much rain falls here at Morgan Lake; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; June on the other hand is the driest. If you need a place to stay Americas Best Value Inn is a pleasant choice, and there's whitewater on San Juan River for all you thrill seekers. This lake is so wonderful. The Region Inn is a perfect spot to get some rest, and at Morgan Dam close to Morgan Lake there are some attention-grabbing things to see.
