There's so much to do here at Mimbres Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Railroad Campground is a magnificent place for that. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors entertaining things the Black Range       has to offer. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is pleasant here at Mimbres Lake, you can go for a hike along the Rocky Canyon Trail, and McKnight Mountain can be distinguished from Mimbres Lake. If you get bored of Mimbres Lake, you could also pop by close by The Lakes, and you can stay the night at Casas Adobes Subdivision. The Burnt Mountain Trail is a delightful hiking trail right next door to Mimbres Lake; Mud Lake is a nearby lake that you could                  stop by.
