Middle Fork Lake is a nice lake to visit. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lost Lake is near Middle Fork Lake, and camping at Italianos Campground is always a pleasant experience. Around Middle Fork Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is typically the driest month. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Rio Grande. You're probably interested in lakes, Lost Lake is one of those nearby, and while you're here why not visit Long Canyon. interested in hydro structures, you can stop at Lost Lake Dam. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Middle Fork Lake. Taos is a tremendous local ski area; La Cal Basin is a delightful place any time of year.
And that's not all you can do here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. There are some delightful whitewater spots on Red River; since you're here you can take a hike along the Number 3 Lift Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you
like skiing, you're in luck; Red River is near Middle Fork Lake, and Middle Fork Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Twining Campground is a perfect local campground. Middle Fork Lake is located in the Sangre De
Cristo Mountains. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Middle Fork Lake. If you need a site to stay Best Western River's Edge is a great choice, and hiking along the Twining Blue Lake Trail is good
fun. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to bump into some smiling people from Taos here, and why not take a little journey to West Fork Red River if you're here. For the duration of the days of summer, highs regularly are
in the 80's at Middle Fork Lake. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 40's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 30's while Middle Fork Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's.
