Rio Brazos
 | 15 miles away This stretch is not do-able to the average boater. It is anything but. The given put-in and take-out coordinates put you through at least one mandatory portage on private property with a less-than-content owner. It's a two day trip, so there is at least one night of camping on private property. The run can only be done when the spring run-off is exactly right, and the V+ rating is not joking. This run is just not done. Go ahead and prove me wrong at your own risk....Note the 40' high waterfall about a mile in from the box downstream entrance. i have fished this many times, and think you would be crazy to run it, not to mention its all on private property.... |
