A wonderful nearby hotel is St James Hotel, and if you're here you can take a hike along the Santa Fe Trail. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Miami Lake. For the duration of the long summer days here at Miami Lake, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 40's. Highs throughout the wintertime are mostly in the 40's, and overnight       lows at Miami Lake through the winter regularly drop into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Do check out Miami Lake Number Two Dam since you're here at Miami Lake, and Miami Lake is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Cathedral Rock Campground is a magnificent local campground. Miami Lake gets very little rain; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. If you want a good time                  in the great outdoors just come on up to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Some of the water close by flows, like LaMaquina Creek; if you came to camp Cimarron Inn and RV Park is a good place to do that. This lake is one of the great places here in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains.
