Mescalero Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. Mescalero Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sacramento Mountains. Inn of the Mountain Gods Resort & Casino is a great site to get some rest; don't leave Mescalero Lake without first going for a hike along the Cedar Creek Trail. Now, you may think that's lots but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here in the Sacramento Mountains.

| | the enjoyable things at Mescalero Lake. Stay the night at Bonito Sundance RV Park and Campground, and you can go for a hike on the Perk Ridge Trail. All through the warm days of summer, highs frequently are in the 90's at Mescalero Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 50's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Mescalero Lake fall into | |

the 20's. After a long day outdoors Hotel Ruidoso is a great site to spend a night or two, and there's nice hiking along the Dry Mills Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Ski Apache is a good local ski area, and naturally, A tour
to Alfred Hale Canyon is always fun. And if that's not enough there's heaps more entertaining stuff to do in the Sacramento Mountains. If you're interested in hydro structures, you can pop by Lake Mescalero Dam. You'll need more than
a day to discover everything Mescalero Lake has to offer, you can camp at Rainbow Lake Cabin and RV Resort. It is very dried out here at Mescalero Lake usually; the month with most of the rain is August; the driest month is April.
