Hiking is a popular thing to do around La Mesa Lake; Resler Drive Walk and Bike Trail is a wonderful local trail, and at La Mesa Lake you always meet someone from Las Cruces. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Tom Mays Unit Trail; Vado RV Park is a pleasant local campground. So many exciting things to do at La Mesa Lake, so little time. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Las Cruces,       and Hacienda RV Resort is a splendid campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Sleep Inn Las Cruces is a great choice, and at Apodaca Arroyo Dam close to La Mesa Lake there are some exciting things to see. La Mesa Lake is generally a relatively waterless place; August is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is April.
