    Why not stop by La Mesa Lake if you're passing through these parts. Apodaca Arroyo Dam is a beautiful location near La Mesa Lake; Sleep Inn Las Cruces is a magnificent place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Near La Mesa Lake you find the Resler Drive Walk and Bike Trail which is a perfect hiking trail; if you need a place to stay Comfort Suites Las Cruces is a splendid choice. People from Las Cruces love to come to La Mesa Lake, and camping at Vado  
   RV Park is always a splendid experience.
High temperatures at La Mesa Lake throughout the warmest time of the year are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 50's, and night lows in the 20's for La Mesa Lake. A lake close by is Burn Lake, and camping is available at Hacienda RV Resort.

               Trail is always a wonderful adventure; La Mesa Lake is not the only spot nearby, Las Cruces Reservoir is a nearby lake. It is very dried up here at La Mesa Lake frequently; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest of the months is April.
