     There is a delightful hiking trail near La Mesa Lake called the Tom Mays Unit Trail; you'll meet a lot of people from Las Cruces here. On a wonderful day at La Mesa Lake you can take a hike along the Resler Drive Walk and Bike Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Las Cruces. Through the days of summer at La Mesa Lake highs are mostly in the 90's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 60's. During the winter this place  
   gets highs in the 50's, and overnight lows at La Mesa Lake during the wintertime typically drop into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. Apodaca Arroyo Dam is not far at all from La Mesa Lake; if you need a site to stay Sleep Inn Las Cruces is a great choice.
Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the neighborhood of La Mesa Lake. If you came to camp Hacienda RV Resort is a great location to do that, and you're in all probability keen
 
               on lakes, Burn Lake is one of those close by. There's so much to do here at La Mesa Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Vado RV Park is a great place for that. Lakes are magnificent; Las Cruces Reservoir is a lake that's in the neighborhood of La Mesa Lake. La Mesa Lake is pretty dried out commonly; August is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is April.
