Beautiful Meadows Reservoir has much to offer visitors. For the period of the summer highs here at Meadows Reservoir reach the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while Meadows Reservoir overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. During your tour to Meadows Reservoir you'll meet some people from Farmington for sure, and

So much enjoyable stuff to do in the Mesa Verde, not enough time. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby East Lake, and Animas River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby. Foxtail Flats is a great spot to stretch your legs a bit, and River Grove RV Park is a splendid campground | |

here. That right there is lots already, but it continues; Meadows Reservoir has it all. There is a fine hiking trail in the vicinity of Meadows Reservoir called the Wheeler Trail; dry warm beds await you at La Quinta Inn Farmington.
If you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Juan River; The Region Inn is a glorious place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. This place, the Mesa Verde, has so much outdoors entertaining
stuff. You might want to pay a visit to The Narrows while you're here at Meadows Reservoir, and here at Meadows Reservoir you can catch a glimpse of Ute Dome.
It is very dried out here at Meadows Reservoir generally; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is June.
