Marys Lake is commonly a relatively waterless place; the month with most of the rain is August, and January meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Monument Lake Resort; Castle Rock Park is a great place to check out. You definitely must go for the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Camping at McCrystal Creek Campground is always a good experience, and after       a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Eagle Nest is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. Through the summertime months at Marys Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's; the nighttime is slightly cooler of course, usually in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's with temperatures at Marys Lake dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights. This lake is located in the wonderful Sangre De Cristo Mountains. A splendid spot to have a                  look at right next door to Marys Lake is Harry Bremmer Canyon, and while you're here at Marys Lake, checking out Castle Rock is a must. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western River's Edge.
