Marys Lake is generally a rather arid place; August is the wettest month with most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is located in the wonderful Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Whohoo, so many entertaining things in one place! The Sangre De Cristo Mountains is excellent! If you need a site to stay Econo Lodge Eagle Nest is a great choice, and       a great location to camp here at Marys Lake is McCrystal Creek Campground. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the Sangre De Cristo Mountains has to offer. Best Western River's Edge is a perfect site to get some rest. A tour to Bubbling Springs will fill your spirit with delightful feelings; you'll find a scenic lake called Bartlett Lake. And that's not all you can do here at Marys Lake. Why not camp at Monument Lake Resort while                  you're here at Marys Lake, and don’t forget to go to Castle Rock Park since you're here at Marys Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious location to have a look at near Marys Lake is Harry Bremmer Canyon, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Bernal Trail. During the days of summer here at Marys Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 40's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Marys Lake through the wintertime frequently plunge into the 0's.
