Maruche Lake is a lake worth visiting. Borunda Spring is always fun to check out, and if you need a place to stay Cloudcroft Hotel is a nice choice. Throughout the summertime at Maruche Lake highs are generally in the 90's with overnight lows in the 60's. All through the wintertime the highs are typically in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Maruche Lake. Maruche Lake gets very little rain; August is when you get the most rain here; April is

| | when it's the driest.
The Sacramento Mountains scenery is always beautiful. On a good day at Maruche Lake you can take a hike along the Osha Trail, and you get a great view of Calico Peak from here. This lake is so wonderful. Maruche Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Slide Campground is a nice local campground; during your visit here you'll meet some people from Alamogordo for sure.

things to do in the Sacramento Mountains. That right there is a heap already, but it keeps on going; Maruche Lake has it all. White Sands National Monument is a magnificent local destination here at Maruche Lake; a great place is
Capulin Canyon. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Sacramento Mountains. There's so much to do here at Maruche Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Scenic Canyon RV Park is a good place for that, and Lodge at Cloudcroft is a good place to get some rest.
