     Mangas Lake is a nice lake to visit. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Goose Lake; a pleasant nearby hotel is Silver City Super 8 Motel. Throughout the summer, highs frequently are in the 90's at Mangas Lake. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Mangas Lake throughout the wintertime typically plunge into  
   the 20's. Don't leave Mangas Lake without first going for a hike along the Sapillo Trail, and a visit to Mangas Lake wouldn't be complete without taking a look at East Prong Spring.
This lake is so wonderful. Mangas Lake is a perfect spot to visit for more than one day, Rose Valley RV Ranch is a perfect spot to camp nearby, and Econo Lodge Silver City is a magnificent spot to get some rest. At Mangas Lake you don’t see much rain; the wettest month of the
 
               year is frequently July, that's the one that rains the most, and April meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Burro Mountain Homestead is a good local campground. Lakes are pleasant; Bill Evans Lake is a lake that's close to Mangas Lake.
Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff in close proximity to Mangas Lake. You can run the rapids of Gila River right next door to Mangas Lake, and a magnificent site nearby is Blacksmith Canyon. A fine location for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Mangas Lake is Gila River, and there are plenty of folks from Silver City here at Mangas Lake. Go for a hike on the Snow Creek Trail, and obviously, all our national parks are delightful locations to stop at and Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument is no exception.
