Mangas Lake gets very little precipitation; July is the month that gets the most rain while April is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Mangas Lake is right by the Snow Creek Trail, and a magnificent spot for whitewater paddling is Gila River. Hiking along the Sapillo Trail is delightful fun. There's so much to do here at Mangas Lake that you need to       camp here for a while, Rio De Arenas Mobile Home is a nice place for that. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors fun stuff the area close to Mangas Lake has to offer. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Gila River, and a glorious site close by is Blacksmith Canyon. Dry warm beds await you at Silver City Super 8 Motel, and if you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Silver City. A short tour to East Prong Spring                  is always worthwhile. For the duration of the days of summer at Mangas Lake highs are typically in the 90's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's while Mangas Lake night low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 20's.
