    Mail Box is a lake worth visiting. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Mail Box, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 50's with temperatures at Mail Box dipping down into the 30's throughout winter nights. You definitely have to adore Mail Box. A spree to Guadalupe Mountains National Park is worthwhile. There's so much to do here at Mail Box that you need to camp here for a while,  
   Pine Spring Campground is a great place for that; on a fine day you can take a hike along the Golden Stairway Trail.
Going for a hike along the Ussery Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood; since you're here, you could also go to wonderful Knee Deep. You absolutely must love the Guadalupe Mountains. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Mail Box has to offer, you can camp at Queen Store Cafe and RV Park; Poor House is
 
               a nearby lake that you could stop by. Mail Box is a beautiful lake in the Guadalupe Mountains.
Mail Box is mostly a relatively dry place; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain while March is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Hamm Draw is a splendid place to spend some time at; since you're here you can take a hike along the Double Trail.
