     Mail Box is a nice lake to visit. Mail Box is mostly a rather arid location; most of the rain falls during September while March is regularly the driest month. At Mail Box during the summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 60's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 50's, and nighttime lows in the 30's for Mail Box. That right there is a heap of entertaining stuff already but it goes on, the Guadalupe Mountains has  
   it all. All our national parks are fine locations to explore, and Guadalupe Mountains National Park is no exception. There's so much to do here at Mail Box that you need to camp here for a while, Queen Store Cafe and RV Park is a magnificent place for that.
Mail Box is a beautiful lake in the Guadalupe Mountains. Mail Box is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Pine Spring Campground is a brilliant local campground, and you can go for a hike on
 
               the Ussery Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Mail Box; Golden Stairway Trail is a fine local trail, and nearby you discover delightful spots like Hamm Draw.
Good hiking is available along the Double Trail.
