This place, the San Juan Mountains, has so much outdoors cool stuff. There are some great whitewater spots on Navajo River, and if you need a place to stay Tribes Chjicarilla is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Blanco River Campground. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan Mountains. Luna Lake is a good site to camp, Buzzard Park Campground is       a good site; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Jicarilla Inn. Summer at Luna Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Luna Lake fall into the 0's.
