It's always fun to stop by Luna Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dulce Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. There's so much to do here at Luna Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Buzzard Park Campground is a nice spot for that. So much enjoyable stuff to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, not sufficient time. A lake nearby is Atole Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Jicarilla Inn. | | is a great choice, and soar down the rapids of Navajo River in a kayak. At Luna Lake you don’t see much precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is June. Luna Lake is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Acres Green RV Park is a wonderful local campground.
